Since I was in middle school, taking pictures of people and places was one of my favorite things to do. When I was 15, I got my first “big girl camera” and soon after, my first car. You can imagine the hours that were spent driving around my hometown looking for the coolest photography spots for my friends and I.
This hasn’t changed since I’ve moved to Statesboro. I still spend my free time driving around aimlessly, and these are just some of the amazing places I’ve stumbled across!
- Billy’s Imports
Love old VW Bugs? Then this place is PERFECT for you. So many old Bugs and even a few VW Buses live in this VW graveyard!
17222 U.S. 301, Statesboro, GA 30458
2. Guido Gardens
Honestly, this garden is so much smaller than I thought it would be, but in no way does that take away from its beauty. Guido Gardens is located in Metter, Georgia and although this isn’t in Statesboro, it’s definitely worth the drive!
600 N Lewis St, Metter, GA 30439
3. The Mad Potter
I am OBSESSED with this beautiful little shop here in Statesboro! It’s half garden, half shop, and it’s a perfect spot to read a book on a nice summer day. And an even better spot to take pictures!
805 S Main St, Statesboro, GA 30458
4. George L. Smith State Park
You seriously can’t go wrong at a state park, especially not at George L. Smith! If you love beautiful nature spots, this is the place for you. It’s not in Statesboro, but it’s not too far and it’s right down the road from Guido Gardens!
