If you’re a book nerd, this post is for you!
Located in Savannah, Georgia, on the corner of East Harris and Bull St, lies THE CUTEST little bookstore I’ve ever seen, E. Shaver, Bookseller.
I stepped through the doorway and I swear it felt like I died and went to book heaven or Narnia or something. The building was built in 1843, so there are lots of twists and turns and cool hidden rooms.
Everything in the store is vintage and cozy and there are plenty of couches and chairs for you to sit and enjoy a good book, as well as a small tea/coffee shop for all of your caffeine needs. Plus, the store is home to three fluffy cats. Who doesn’t want to pet a cat while you’re cuddled up reading a book?
But the coolest thing about E. Shaver, Bookseller is the typewriter hidden in the very back of the shop. What used to be the store’s tool for typing invoices has been transformed into a creative nook for poets and amateur writers. The walls are covered with phrases and poems from top to bottom.
Take a trip to this book nirvana, pet the cats, type something to put on the walls, and let me know about your experience below!
Xoxo, Emily
